BATCHING OPERATOR

Job responsibilities :

Able to start and stop Batching process system with 60 days of assignment to area.
Able to perform all testing and sampling in Batching area and complete condition record or quality record sheets accurately.
Able to clean & assemble machine and equipment.
Able to safely operate all equipment and systems.
Able to identify quality issues and make parameter adjustments to correct these.
Cooperate with extruder to fix/solve for product quality issue together
Demonstrates consistent application of product knowledge in solving quality issues.
Takes ownership for area in terms of safety and housekeeping and problem escalation
Maintain a safe and dlean work environment to promote safety and product integrity.
Responsible for area GMP, Food Sanitary and hygiene and Ss.
Able to accurately troubleshoot mechanical and controls system issues
Ability to actively address food safety and quality concerns.
Coordinate with QA QC team to ensure product performance (nutrition) meet specification.
Able to help maintenance/tech services find long-term solutions to problems in area.
Perform all of the following duties in the batching area of the plant. This includes. operating all systems, performing all quality checks, maintaining reports and system logs, and troubleshooting all aspects of each system.
Troubleshoot processing systems that are not performing properly and take corrective action to ensure product quality while minimizing unnecessary downtime.
Able to work with engineering and maintemance to make upgrades to area systems

QUALIFICATIONS :

Have a diploma or bachelor degree for Mechanical or equivalent education.
At least 2 years working experience in food manufacturing for machine operating.
22 years of age or older
Good reading and writing skills. (English communication preferable.)
High level of mechanical aptitude and knowledge with good skills in troubleshooting and problem solving.
Excellent housekeeping skills and knowledge of Hygiene and sanitation.
Good knowledge of personal computers.
Ability to lift 50 Ibs.
Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts under variable conditions such as heat, cold, high and /or confined spaces and have full mobility with ability to climb ladders and stairs and do repetitive bending and twisting. Must be able to cover peers on off-shifts.
