FOOTWEAR DEVELOPER
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Manage development timelines and critical paths for assigned projects, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality products
- Oversee the sample-making process, ensuring samples meet all specifications and requirements
- Manage changes to specifications and construction methods throughout the development process, ensuring timely and accurate communication to all relevant parties
- Conduct fit and wear tests to ensure footwear products meet comfort, functionality, and performance requirements
- Plan and execute project development according to the seasonal critical dates that lead to on-time delivery of sales samples and production confirmation
- Create and maintain BOM and fulfill development requirements
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams at appropriate times to facilitate the process
REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum Diploma in a related area of study
- 1-2 years of experience in footwear development or a similar role Strong understanding of the footwear development process
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively with a diverse group of people Bilingual in English and Indonesian or Mandarin
UPPER TOOLING SPECIALIST
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Analyze, create, and organize the constructions of 2D/3D models to be used for the technical product description
- Analyze designs for manufacturability, production, and material properties to meet standards and requirements
- Conduct trial processes
- Collaborate with the team and cross-functional teams to execute product demands
- Conduct tear-down meetings (i.e., with Product Testing, Development) to ensure that each shoe is engineered and constructed to meet brand quality standards
- Actively participate in cross-training with the goal to provide customers in Design and Development with the complete range of technical product data (Uppers)
REQUIREMENTS :
- University degree or comparable education as an upper tooling specialist
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience preferred
- Knowledge about the upper shoe-making process is preferred
- Extensive CAD work experience, Rhino preferred, other 2D-3D CAD applications
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Fluent in English; Mandarin is an advantage
