SHE Technology & PSM Engineer
Job Responsibilities :
- Assist task force team to develop and leverage standard and implementation of Process Safety Management elements
- Monitor operating unit PSM programs through reviews of process hazards studies, serious incident and other reports, and auditing plant compliance.
- Assist plant as technical resources in process hazards analysis (i.e. HAZOP, What-If, SIL/LOPA, Bow-tie etc.) programs and special hazards evaluations
- Participate in pre-start-up safety reviews of new major units or major modifications of existing units.
- Set up and help ensure that adequate auditing resources are identified and appropriate PSM audits are completed, with follow-up according to PSM Audit Program
- To identify and control potential hazards (HIRADC and JOHAN/JSA) work activities on plant facilities, machinery, and safety equipment and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
- To write and revise safety procedure and apply safety regulations and codes.
- To conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment.
- To assist investigation of industrial accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive measures.
- To assist internal audit with the auditor of the company such as: Quality Assurance Section, or from outside companies such as: insurance, certification bodies, government, etc.
- To recommend process and product safety features that will reduce employees’ exposure to chemical, physical, and biological work hazards.
- To review employee safety programs to determine their adequacy.
- To review plans and specifications for construction of new machinery or equipment to determine whether all safety requirements have been met.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor degree in major Chemical Engineering or related engineering
- Having 1-2 years working experience as Process Safety or related field in Petrochemical Plant/ Oil & Gas
- Good Engineering skills/standard, Engineering Software & Computer literate.
- Fluent in english both spoken & written.
- Familiar to conduct mitigation plan related to catastropic even with PHASH or ALOHA Software.
- Ability to work at Field 70% and 30% office.
